We invite the submission of abstracts for a special issue of Big Data & Society on the topic of digital resignation and privacy cynicism. This special theme will serve as a forum for research that explores, extends and challenges our understanding of privacy cynicism, digital resignation and related concepts. We invite submissions that address theoretical and practical issues related to conceptualising, measuring and responding to the ubiquitous and seemingly inevitable use of personal data in the digital age.
